We’ve finally updated the web page! Since we didn’t have enough to do already, updating the look, the words and the pictures on the web page seems like a great way to spend some time. Many thanks to Ed Bejarana of BusinessBlogging.net for jump-starting the process.
Computer Studios has been around in Santa Cruz County for a long time – 20 some years now – and we’ve been using local companies to publish our web page for almost that long. Very early in the history of the Internet in Santa Cruz, there was a company called scruz.net. They were our first ISP. Our web page is now hosted by Cruzio, which traces some of its heritage back to scruz.net. Why is that relevant? Because our original webpage was hosted on some of Cruzio’s earliest web servers. In 2008, Cruzio updated their hosting platforms, and now this year, we’ve had them move our webpage to their new servers. We’re using WordPress to maintain the pages.
